Next week's Pool 11 will be held at Indoor Stadium, Hua Mark, where Thailand will play United States, Dominican Republic and Germany. In Pool 5, United States overwhelmed Belgium 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-17) for their fifth win of the campaign. In the second match of the pool, Lonneke Sloetjes produced another outstanding performance to engineer a comfortable 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-21) win for Netherlands over hosts Japan. In Pool 6, Russia beat Germany 3-1 (19-25, 25-21, 25-15, 25-23), while Italy stunned hosts South Korea 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 25-21).
